The Groove Criminals present Lo-fi synths, a collection of hits and loops taken from some of the more unusual synths and noise boxes that inhabit the darker corners of GCHQ. No midi, USB, or even keys grace this collection of various DIY, hand made, one-off and limited run synth boxes.
From 1 bit modular nastiness built into a video case, the classic Atari punk console (in a tin) or handmade filters to more unusual small production units like the Bugbrand Board Weevil or Bleep Labs Thingamagoop, this set of samples maybe low on fidelity but it’s big on character.
This unique collection is perfect for adding some raw, lo-fi magic, tough as nails synth drops and unusual FX to your IDM, Dubstep, Glitch-hop, Dirty Electro (or just about any other electronic) productions.
This collection contains:
• 86 single hits 55 loops 81 FX
• 26 synth throbbs
• 88 percussive samples (kick/snare/hi-hat/percussion)
• 16 pitched drones
• All samples are presented as high quality 24 bit WAV files
• 105 REX2 files (55 loops and an extra 50 bonus beats created with the percussive samples)
