We've always been fans of the Smash Up The Studio label here at S2S: there aren't many labels putting out fine Midi products. So we persuaded them to put together a series of unique saver bundles - each aimed at a different genre.

Electro Funk and Soul Machine comprises two best-selling packs - Electro Funk and Soul Machine - at a special price (£49 instead of £65) for a vast palette of original chord progressions, solo toplines, basslines, guitars, keys, backing pads and more.

Each pack comes with a selection of pre-arranged construction kits featuring all constituent parts broken out for your ease.

Or you can delve into the packed Additional Loops folders, where many more loops, riffs and progressions are offered to get the creative juices flowing.

All loops are presented as Wavs and Apple Loops - with the progressions all recorded on the original analogue gear that defined an era.

And because all loops are also presented as Midi only, you can also choose your own sounds: wide Rhodes, funky Clavs, detuned pads, organic bass, sparkling electric pianos - pick your weapon and let the intricate Midi files do the work - all thanks to keys virtuoso Steve Burton.

Steve's CV reads like a who's who of house music. His fingers have graced the keyboards on tracks from Masters at Work, Joey Negro, Basement Jaxx, India and many more.
