Inspired by the almighty Amen break and other classic grooves, the latest from Industrial Strength offers true old-school flavours without the legal worries of sampling the classics.

Beats are served in three tempo groups: Dnb (160-180bpm), Classic Breaks (85-175bpm) and Dubstep (140). Additional folders supply original fills in various tempos, hihat loops and raw drum hits (cymbals, hats, kicks, snares, toms and rolls).

New York drummer Evan Pazner takes the sticks using a late 1960's Ludwig drum kit - similar to that used in the famous Amen break.

All loops are presented as Acidized Wavs, Rex2 loops and Apple Loops. All are tempo-labeled for your ease. A Battery 3 kit is offered so you can create your own patterns with the drum hits used to make each loop. Vintage Breaks is also available as a Refill for Reason users.

The pack is produced by Bhk, Lenny Dee and Derek Nievergelt at the Tight Spot Studios in Brooklyn, New York.

All drums were recorded in a dead room to limit reflections and standing waves. Classic microphones and vintage pre-amps were used in each recording to give you the dirty old school record style feeling with out compromising on quality.

All loops are pumped up while leaving headroom for you to add your own effects and EQ.

The breaks were edited and reworked by ISR's head sound designer BHK to give you perfectly cut grooves.
