Goal: The big room anthem sound of Swedish House Mafia’s massive hit ‘One’. Use of stacked synth sounds to build huge layered lead line.
You will need: Synth with various oscillators (we’re using the Access Virus and fxpansion’s Strobe), plus organ modelling VST or sample instrument plus reverb and a bit-crusher.

do you mean that kick drum roll in the intro – sounds like it could be artillery or effetrix ? this video is like the whole track with all the synth layers – interesting how they do their melodies and chords – thanks for cool video
the bassline is made using a kick drum and a sampler, there are probably 20 ways to do this but i did it like this in ableton http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbbIOUZBePQ hope you don’t mind me posting a link
